After few weeks, back to our daily routine, I’m still smiling thinking back to our International Week at EADA Business School in Barcelona – a partner business school of MIP – which we lived as part of our International Part Time MBA experience. And it is true, it happens quite often that I find myself scrolling the photo gallery of my smartphone and live again some moments spent together with my classmates.

As truly “glocal” MBA fellows, we packed up our bags and flew to the capital of Catalonia. Barcelona is one of the most lively cities in the world, whose many of the most famous attractions are designed by Antoni Gaudì, such as Casa Batlló on Passeig de Gràcia, La Predrera, Parc Güell, not to mention the Sagrada Familia. A city that is well known for its nightlife as much as for its business environment, recognized as one of the most innovative cities at the global level.

These 7 days flew past as if we were in a time lapse video. The same 50 people I met few days before during the kick-off in Milan, were the same that experienced the atmosphere of Collbató, where EADA has its Residential Training Campus and where we spent the first days doing intensive courses on negotiation, leadership, geopolitics and internationalization, coupled with outdoor training, meetings, brainstorming sessions and group assignments. I must be honest with you though, as this is not the whole story: we also fought like hell during billiards matches, had late-night meals over tasty tapas and good wine and -sometimes!- few hours of sleep…

It was simply an amazing week in which we were surrounded by a dynamic city and we were inspired by excellent professors. It was amazing just because we got to know each other much better. Now each of us knows some personal stories of the other, including fears, goals, passions, failures and dreams. Because in any business activity, it is always a matter of people, it is always a matter of who is next to you.

Sorry, dear readers, but the more I write, the more nostalgic I get… and guess what?… I’m scrolling once again the photo gallery, picture by picture…
