Since I started my master at MIP, I had the impression to blend and learn in a challenging and international environment. It is how I started looking around and deepening the opportunities offered by the huge MIP network. Therefore, I found AUDENCIA, the Business School of Nantes, with which MIP offers the “Master in Supply Chain and Purchase Management†and I joined their winter school program with focus on management, from different perspectives, and European institutions.
As a student of the so-called “Master in Strategic Project Management – European (MSPME)â€, I was interested in their winter courses both for the coherency of the subjects with my field of study, and for the internationality of the students that I had the chance to meet and that reflects the environment of my class in MIP. I believe that the value brought from this kind of surrounding is priceless and that sometimes it can contribute to the personal and professional growth even more than a traditional way of learning.
These 3-day exchange was held in Brussels, where I had the chance to visit the major European buildings, such as the Council, the Commission and the Parliament and to understand better the opportunities deriving from the comprehension of the roles that these institutions have on the macroeconomic environment of business. Sure enough, a great part of our future job as Project Managers will come from the capability of reading the major changes and trends, such as the new policies and rules coming also from the EU institutions, especially the Commission which is the competition regulator. It is enough to say that the awareness of this and the capacity of deal with it will hugely affect the position that every firm will occupy with respect to competitors, customers and the overall market.
In conclusion, I am grateful for this intense experience both with MIP, that supported my application and with AUDENCIA that kindly hosted me: I am looking forward for my next one!
